This is a nice basic corded phone, which as a wall or desk phone displays the caller ID to the outside before you pick up the phone to answer. However, you cannot change the cord length, and this information is not given in the mfgr’s discription. Be advised if you, as I usually do, change to a longer cord. Rating: 3 / 5

Uniden Slimline Corded Phone with CID/CW – UN-1260BK

Purchased as a back up phone during power failures, I find this phone perfect sound is clear, size is good it is wall mountable, caller ID is a little hard to see as it is not back lit. Only issue is hand set is hard wired, so you can’t easily add a longer cord but overall it serves it’s purpose. Rating: 5 / 5

Before I plugged in the Phone, it rang and there was no one there. Again, the Phone rang and someone said, “Hello?”. I can’t understand how the Phone rang if it was not plugged in. It reminded me of some horror movie. Rating: 3 / 5

I have had this phone since it came out and I love it, It has gone through everything with me and just keeps on going. It has even been accidently run over (truck) and although the screen did crack, which is kinda expected. It still worked and I could make and receive calls, while I waited for my new one to arrive. Highly recommended if you have the issues I have of dropping stuff and or traveling alot and needing a secure means of contact no matter what…. Rating: 5 / 5

The phone is OK and seems HD, but the outside screen stopped working after 4 months. Warranty is no good becasue they charge you $55 to replace.

DO NOT BUY if you want MP3 use. will only play in MONO, not stereo. Motorola and Nextel cannot provide a headset or adapter that makes it work. Rating: 1 / 5

This is a great products

Pros:
- Good sound quality
- support WPA, WPA2, WEP and open network.
- easy to use

Need to Improve:
- Battery life. if it can go up to 12 Hours or more. it will be great.
- Better Wizard for use with WPA and other Encryption.
- Cheaper Price is better
- Support SMS please

"Pluses":
- This Wi-Fi Skype Phone is very simple in use with intuitive interface
- Very lightweight phone, stylish design
- this Wi-Fi phone has basic set of voice calls possibilities (Skype-to-Skype, SkypeIn/Out, Voicemail)
- A sound quality not excellent, but good enough.
- In contacts list on the screen, Names of contacts in Russian is really supported (about support of majority of the European languages for contacts list Names is mentioned in FAQ [...])

"Minuses":
- A small set of ring tones (it is insignificant "minus")
- Support in the interface of small number of languages (English, Chinese, Japanese)
- The manufacturer not recommend use this phone in "multi-access-point" Wi-Fi network (like a microcellular DECT network) though I did not test this device in a this environment, but possibility use this phone in "multi-access-point" an environment - is worthy attention and very interesting!
- No SMS (Skype chat service). Support of Skype chat service - would be very big advantage!

As a whole, the device is worthy attention and costs the its price!
As a whole, this is very good product! Thanks for it to IPEVO company!
We hope for the further development of a Skype of products by IPEVO!

This phone is very easy to set and use. The only anoying issue is the relative long time it needs to boot..

Audio quality is very good. Wifi sensitivity is nothing to write home about… my eeepc 901 “hears” my wifi access point with more signal than this phone.

I would, nevertheless, buy it again!!! Rating: 4 / 5

I’m in the military serving overseas and desperately wanted to keep in contact with those at home. I considered Vonage, Magic Jack and Skype primarily. Bottom line, Skype was best hands down. I bought a Skype In number for like $20 per year after discounts, so my family can call me for free. However, I didn’t like being tethered to a computer. I’d heard of Skype phones, but hadn’t heard much good about them. I did my homework and finally decided to try this phone. Well, I couldn’t be happier with it. The sound quality is GREAT! I’m hard of hearing but can hear people on the other end just fine. The range is very good. My family says they can hear me just like I was using a landline. The phone is very easy to setup. The charge on the battery is outstanding. I can take the phone with me as I travel and can be used in any hotel with wi-fi or any internet cafe. It has been worth every cent I sent on it and should last for years. I would add a speakerphone if I was making it, but I can definitely live without it. Rating: 5 / 5
