I needed an inexpensive basic phone which would work during a power failure. The one I received can receive calls and the sound quality is OK, but I cannot make outgoing calls because only the “1″ button works. If the outgoing dialing had worked, I would have rated this a “4″ based on its value. But since it does not, it is rather useless and the low price is not worth the hassle and expense of dealing with an RMA. Rating: 2 / 5
I love the little princess phone! SIMPLE and GREAT CALL QUALITY FOR ME AND WHOEVER I CALL!! GREAT for when the power goes out and I still have a phone to make calls with, unlike all of the wireless phones I have that go DEAD with no electricity!! Rating: 5 / 5
I just needed a basic phone. No bells and whistles required. This fits the bill.
The only drawback is the base is very light and prone to knocking over. Rating: 4 / 5
I like to keep one “old-fashioned” phone in the house to deal with power outages without having to rely on the cell phone that needs electricity to be recharged. The phone I had was an old classic Bell clunker that would wake the dead, even at the lowest volume setting, and I had it in my bedroom. Nothing like someone dialing the wrong number at 4 AM.
This Jwin phone was the perfect replacement. You can make it quiet and it even works!
